Did you know that car washes are big users of knitted HDPE shade fabric?
Did you know that car washes are big users of knitted HDPE shade fabric? The “vacuum arches” at the local drive-through car wash frequently use Polyfab Polytex+ shadecloth! The lightweight fabric’s high UV protection keeps the customers cooler while they are vacuuming their cars on a hot summer day; and the 150 inch extra-wide width allows for full panels with no seams for less labor and better dimensional stability.
And with the new colors recently introduced, car wash operators have access to 22 colors (plus custom colors if needed) to match their corporate colors! […]
Meet our new Plus colors
Our Operations Manager Chadd needed a sunshade for a birthday party in the backyard, so he ordered a shade sail made out of our new Comtex+ Paperbark from Wholesale Shade. He and our employees John and Andrew installed the Polyfab Deck Post Brackets to the concrete deck, installed the posts and the shade the day of the party, and all in attendance had a more enjoyable time at the party!
This is one of our new Plus colors, which we expect will be a best-seller soon. If you need a […]
Do you know where your shadecloth comes from?
So, remember a few months ago when we asked if you knew what country your knitted HDPE shadecloth came from?
If you recognize this photo of a “weather” balloon–does that jog your memory a bit? If you are currently buying shade fabric and don’t know if it comes from the same country as this balloon, please advise and we’ll try to help you figure out the country of origin…
If it helps any, please note that Polyfab USA sells shadecloth from Indonesia and South Korea–both democracies; both friends of the USA; […]
2023 Midwest Fabric Products Association Convention
We have just returned from exhibiting at the Midwest Fabric Products Association Convention held in Nashville, TN last week.
We were happy to see some long-term friends that we hadn’t seen for a few years, and showed our Polytex+, Comtex+, new XTRA shadecloth and other products.
Coincidentally, our table was next to MPanel’s, so the folks interested in making shade sails could learn about design and rendering software and premium shadecloth without a long walk 😉 !
New Orleans!
We were very happy to be exhibiting at the 2023 MFA Conference in New Orleans! We showed our Parasol being used as a marine shade fly, along with the carbon-fiber poles from Carbiepoles. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!
We gave out samples of our Patternpro Ultra Stable Patterning Fabric, and the Profilen PTFE UV Resistant Sewing Thread from Austria. If you missed any of this, let us know and we’ll ship you a sample!
And we were pleased that Yacht Canvas of Annapolis, MD won a free roll of Patternpro at […]
MFA Conference in New Orleans (2023)
We know it’s bad weather now–rain, snow, tornados and the like–but in a few months it will be pleasant again and boatowners will be asking about shading over their cockpits and sun decks, right?
Polyfab USA will be exhibiting at the 2023 Marine Fabricator’s Association (MFA) Conference in New Orleans, January 26-28. Here is a shot of a display from last year’s Conference. We combined with CARBIEPOLES to construct a shade fly exhibit–using Parasol Commercial Grade Shadecloth–on a T-Top, that was shown at the Keyston Bros booth.
Next January in NOLA, […]
