The Melanoma International Foundation Promotes ‘Sun Safe Behavior’
Manhattan Beach — January 21, 2014 — We are pleased to announce that Polyfab Worldwide has been awarded the Seal of Approval by the Melanoma International Foundation:
According to their website (www.safefromthesun.org): “The Melanoma International Foundation (MIF) strives to develop personalized strategies with melanoma patients so they may live longer, better lives. Our vision is a future where top-notch melanoma treatment is accessible to patients globally. We are on the cutting edge of creating and supporting the most effective melanoma programs for the early detection and treatment of melanoma.
“Patients and the general public frequently come to MIF for recommendations about sun safe strategies. To fulfill this need, MIF has developed the Seal of Approval program. Our seal is awarded to quality products that promote sun safe behaviors and are in accordance with our mission. Product applications are evaluated by a special committee who base their approval on evaluating company-supplied, independent testing, product quality, the product’s reinforcement of sun-safe behaviors and the company’s website & promotional materials.”
